THE MOON SAW ME HOME
THE MOON SAW ME HOME (2010)
the song says
take the long way home
and I sway to the cadence
of the piano's dance
the glare of the street
as the moon oversees all
alone the chill of night on my shoulders
my balance suddenly precarious
the night sky a maze of lights
but with no stars to guide me
and an itch in the middle of my back
and no one to help me scratch it
my psyche says coffee
but my stomach says no way
psyche score one
stomach score nothing
the moon sets and says
go to bed fool
but I stare at the screen
and think about things I never learned in school
she says the music is too loud
give the neighbors a break
so I put my headphones
and then some coffee I will make
I wonder how many lines
are the result of bad rhymes
or having only pennies for thoughts
when what you need are dimes
so from an old poem a better poem
an inspiration I borrow on short notice for tonight
more blood sweat and tears when in the past just ahead of my fears
the moon saw me home

CRAP!
Very frustrating day, for some unknown reason the admin for my blog went AWOL and I couldn't get the page up on Firefox, oddly I could get it to display on Safari which I'd never been able to do before. Now Firefox is back to normal and Safari won't load the page, go figure. Blog-City says the problem is with the browsers not them and I believe them. For some unknown reason Yahoo inserts itself between me and the page demanding passwords and resets and just generally frustrating the hell the hell out of me even screwing up my hotmail and giving me four new passwords to remember.
This computer just about became airborne let me tell you.
Grrrrrrrrr,

Well here I am back on blog spot. I wasn't happy with it in 2006 because it didn't have a decent community page where I could follow other blogs and no hit counter so you never knew if anyone came to your site. I see though that they have added a lot of neat features and as Blog-City is in the process of closing I will fumble along here.
